Warning Sounds for Security Cameras

If your security system alarm is triggered you can now have your security cameras also sound an alarm, this additional alarm feature creates an added layer of protection during an alarm event. Find out how to establish these sounds by following the steps below.

How to create these warning sounds via desktop:

1. Log into your Guardian Protection account.
2. Click Automation. 
3. Click Add New Rule.
4. Click New Rules Builder.
5. In when, click Select. 
6. In Select Feature, click to select Alarm. 
7. Click Next.
8. In Select Sensor, click to select the desired panel, partition, or sensors. 
9. Click Done. 
10. In then, click Select.
11. In Select Feature, click to select Camera Deterrence.
12. Click Next.
13. In Select Devices, click to select the desired cameras.
14. Click Done.
15. Click  to edit the desired timeframe.
16. Click Save.  

How to create these warning sounds via the Guardian app:

1. Log into the Guardian Protection app.
2. Tap .
3. Tap Automation.
4. Tap .
5. Name the rule as desired.
6. In when, tap Select.
7. In Select Feature, tap to select Alarm. 
8. In Select Sensor, tap to select the desired panel, partition, or sensors.
9. Tap Done.
10. In then, tap Select.
11. In Select Feature, tap to select Camera Deterrence.
12. In Select Devices, tap to select the desired cameras.
13. Tap Done.
14. Tap  to select the desired timeframe.
15. Tap Save.

Please note that this is only available for camera versions ADC – V515,  ADC-V523/523X,  ADC-V724/724X, ADC-VC728PF, and ADC-VC727P.
